Sharon Yvonne Stone (born March 10 1959) was born in Meadville Pennsylvania to Dorothy Lawson an accountant and Joseph William Stone Jr. who was a tool and die manufacturer, who been employed as a worker in an industrial company. Michael, Kelly, Patrick and Dorothy Lawson are her siblings. Stone has a talent in the classroom as young children, began her second grade education at the age of five. Saegertown School in Saegertown Pennsylvania is her school of choice for highschool. Stone graduated in 1975. She was crowned Miss Crawford County, she also participated in her first Miss Pennsylvania Beauty Pageant. Stone together with her Aunt in 1977, moved into New Jersey for a modeling job. Stone signed with Ford Modeling Agency a week later. While in Europe, she lived for a year in Milano and Paris. Stone, disillusioned at the model world that was thriving in Europe decided to take up acting while living in Europe. She appeared at 20 in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories" which received mixed receptions.
