Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the teenager age. Aspen Ladd trained in BJJ, kickboxing, boxing, and wrestling prior to her professional debut at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd then went on to win three fights consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated were finished within the first minute. She then returned to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen initially defeated Silvia Babyghian before going on to face Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9, where she faced Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was able to hand Aspen a unanimous defeat and beat her in a match that tarnished Ladd's amateur career. Ladd recovered from the loss by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, bringing her record up to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in the year 2015, when she signed to Invicta FC. Invicta Fc 11 she dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the bout in the one round with a TKO. Invicta 16 also saw Aspen rise into the Bantamweight division after winning her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen employed the strong skills she had learned in wrestling to defeat McGill. She ended her bout via TKO (3rd round) (elbows as well as punches). Aspen was then matched against Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. The fight was with Hoy in the catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd did not gain weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy and was able to knock her out in the second round with a TKO. Her final fight with this promotion, Ladd defeated Sijara Eubanks by an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Her UFC debut was on UFC Fight Night 118 when she fought Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina as she ground-and-pound beat her to the TKO victory in the 2nd round. She remained dominant and picked up another big win over Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd took the win in round one and was awarded the performance of the Night bonus. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee She fought Sijara Eubanks for her first significant fight. Ladd took home the fight of the night bonus fight after the two fighters engaged in hard in a tense combat. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's final round, was defeated by Randamie. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. Her loss was a unanimous one.
